Video Lectures

Adding Video Lectures

Integrate YouTube and Vimeo video links into your course so students can watch lectures without leaving the platform.

EasyPrep provides a built-in video lecture repository so your students can access all video content from a single interface.

Why Use the Video Repository?

  • Reduced distractions — Students watch embedded videos inside EasyPrep instead of navigating to YouTube or Vimeo directly, where algorithm-driven recommendations can lead them astray.
  • Organised access — Videos are structured by subject and topic, making it easy for students to find what they need.
  • Progress tracking — Know which students have watched which videos.

Adding a Video

  1. Navigate to Video Lectures → Add Video.
  2. Paste the YouTube or Vimeo link.
  3. Give the video a title and description.
  4. Select the subject and topic tags.
  5. Assign the video to one or more batches.

The platform will automatically fetch the video thumbnail and embed it for playback.

Organising Videos

Videos can be grouped into:

  • Courses — e.g. "Complete Physics for JEE 2026".
  • Modules — e.g. "Module 1: Mechanics", "Module 2: Thermodynamics".
  • Individual Topics — for quick reference.

You can reorder videos within a module using drag-and-drop.

Playback Experience

When a student clicks on a video, it plays in an embedded player directly inside the EasyPrep interface. The student never leaves the platform, ensuring they stay focused on the lecture.

Tips

  • Record your lectures and upload to YouTube as "Unlisted" so they are only accessible via your EasyPrep platform.
  • Add chapter timestamps in the video description for easy navigation.
  • Supplement each video with related study material and a short quiz for reinforcement.
